With 15 albums under his belt, David Gogo delivers a smorgasbord of blues flavours on his newest album "17 Vultures". Most impressively he dishes up several styles of blues from Chicago to Delta throughout the album.  With a little help from his friends, drummer Pat Steward (Odds, Bryan Adams) and Ben Dwyer on upright and electric bass; guest Marisha Devoin on upright bass, Tina Jones on vocals and banjo, and Simon Kendall on keyboards, David takes us through a heavenly blues journey of memories and freshness. The recreations of the covers found on the album is a resurrection of classic sounds and feels that become new again to the ear. If you like the modern blues sounds of Colin James or the gripping sounds of those blues slides rooted in the south, you will want to pick up this album for your collection.

David resides in British Colombia and is presently touring in support of his new album. He has six JUNO Award nominations, has been named Guitarist Of The Year three times at the Maple Blues Awards, was named Musician Of The Year at the West Coast Music Awards, won Blues Recording Of The Year at the Western Canadian Music Awards. Blues fans make sure you keep an eye on this one.
